About Health
The Center will work with doctors, hospitals, health care practices, and the community to instill greater knowledge of and sensitivity toward the unique health care needs of the LGBT community, and to ensure higher-quality health care for all gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in Kansas.
One of the greatest resources that we can provide to our community is a health-care provider list. This will be an extensive list of health-care professionals in Kansas that have filled out a survey that asks about their experience with and sensitivity to the LGBT community. Each provider's survey results will be reviewed by The Center to ensure that he or she is in tune to the needs of the LGBT community.
