If you submit a photo that contains images of other individuals other than yourself, you agree to act as an agent on their behalf and have obtained their permission for submission and have provided said individuals a copy of our Site Use and Privacy Policy for review prior to submission. You agree to waive or transfer all rights to The Center for Human Rights for any purpose for any submitted content. You agree that any content or photos submitted may be used for print or online publication without notice and without royalty, payment or credit due to you or any other individuals. Submitted content becomes property of The Center for Human Rights and will not be returned. Content you submit may be edited for content or formatted for display purposes without notice. Submitted content is also subject to the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy which you agree to review prior to submitting any content.
5. Membership
A membership to The Center for Human Rights is voluntary and is not required to establish a relationship with The Center. Some services provided by The Center may be available without or only with a membership. Some membership levels may require monthly or annual payments paid via a third-party payment processor. Information provided during the payment process of membership formation is governed by our Site Use and Privacy policies. Unless otherwise indicated your membership will automatically renew in accordance to your membership duration period at sign-up. For example, if you sign up for a monthly membership, your membership will automatically renew 30 days after you initially create your membership. Membership fees or dues will be billed automatically in accordance to the payment method you select during initial sign-up and will continue unless otherwise indicated. You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us through our 'Contact' page. If you provide us at least 24 hours notice prior to the next time your membership renews, we will cancel your membership immediately and you will not be billed again. If you cancel your relationship with our third-party payment processor or we are unsuccessful in processing a payment for your membership renewal, we may cancel your membership immediately without prior notice. You agree to keep a current mailing and billing address on file with The Center for membership maintenance and emergency contact purposes. Financial assistance is available to eligble individuals for membership fees or other services provided by The Center.
Upon forming a membership with The Center, you will receive a membership card by mail at the address you provide within 1-2 weeks unless otherwise indicated. Your membership card will provide access to some services provided online and at our physical location. For example, your membership card will allow you to use our Cyber Cafe for free Internet access during business hours. Your membership card may also allow you to pay for certain services or goods provided by The Center and should be treated and protected as you would cash. For example, you may be able to place funds on your membership card to print information or buy a soda at our Cyber Cafe. Placing funds on your account for use via your membership card is voluntary and is not required to access services or to buy goods at our location and is provided for convenience. By placing funds on your membership card, you grant us permission to use said funds for payment of any charges owed on your account. Your membership card also servies as your 'library card' in our learning center and Library and will be used to maintain a record of any resources you have rented or loaned from The Center and may be used to collect a replacement fee if you fail to return said references. Lost or stolen membership cards should be reported to us immediatly for replacement. A nominal replacement fee may be billed to your account. You are responsible for timely payment for any fees or dues billed ot your account. An account in good standing (not past due) may be required to access some services provided by The Center.
6. Limitations
In no event shall The Center for Human Rights, Inc. or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on The Center for Human Rights, Inc.'s Internet site, even if The Center for Human Rights, Inc. or a The Center for Human Rights, Inc. authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
